We are committed to doing business responsibly, ethically and transparently, using our values and our Code of Conduct to guide us.
Our Code sets out the minimum rules employees and business partners must follow when working at or with Valcambi.
In addition, Valcambi Precious Metals Supply Chain Policy sets out our responsibility and full commitment to ensuring that our sourcing and sale of precious metals has not directly or indirectly contributed to abuses of human rights, terrorist financing activities, conflict, irremediable environmental degradation, or corruption and money laundering.
The Policy is aligned with the OECD Due Diligence Guidelines (DDG), the OECD DDG ‘Supplement on Gold’, the Responsible Jewellery Council standard, Fairtrade standard, ‘LBMA Responsible Gold Guidance’, ‘LBMA Responsible Silver Guidance’ and the ‘LPPM Responsible Platinum/Palladium Guidance’.
All of Valcambi’s counterparties involved in our precious metals supply chain must comply with the Policy.
To complement our Policy, we have developed a suite of internal systems and processes (KYC, KYP, due diligence) to ensure that all our partners across the entire supply chain carry out their businesses in a responsible way.
While we encourage employees and stakeholders to express directly any concerns they may have about Valcambi’s practices, we have established a Grievances and Whistleblowing Policy, which is available to anybody who wishes to follow a more formal framework to raise their concerns.
Because modern slavery is a very real risk globally, we clearly state our support to the elimination of all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking/smuggling in our Modern Slavery Statement.
Finally, our Anti-bribery and Corruption Policy provides additional and complementary guidance to the Code of Conduct, to combat bribery and corruption.
One for all, all for one: we keep on demonstrating to the world that Valcambi is united by strong corporate and ethical values.
