Selection and hiring process

You will be invited for the selection interviews if your qualifications fulfill the minimum required levels described in our search profile.

During the initial interview with HR, we will learn about your background and skills and we will need to understand if you share Valcambi’s core values of respect, integrity, and excellence (see Valcambi Code of Conduct). At the same time, you will learn more about Valcambi.

Having passed the first round, you may be invited for a second interview with several of our line managers. They will want to assess your technical capabilities and evaluate your professional, theoretical, and practical knowledge. They will provide you with detailed information about your possible future job, role, and responsibilities.

Candidates who pass the second interview successfully will then need to provide various documents, including Criminal Records and Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Records. These will be checked and if verified, Valcambi will provide you with a final job offer.

Role-specific certification

Depending upon their job, many employees seek professional certifications, and examinations. Examples include a Masters Degree in Compliance Management or training as an Assayer of Precious Metal.
