Valcambi’s refinery is a high security complex, which is protected round-the-clock using the latest surveillance, control, and alarm systems.
The company employs its own team of highly experienced security professionals.
All metal transfers and transportation of valuable materials to and from our plant are subject to the highest levels of control and security.
We work closely only with selected, specialised security shipping companies to ensure a smooth and secure process for our ourselves and our clients.
Valcambi’s security systems and vaults are regularly scrutinised by specialised security consulting firms for internal stress testing and possible improvement.
Our security systems are audited once every two years by our insurer and their re-insurers, and annually by clients who hold metals with us.
A full and controlled evacuation of the factory is carried out once a year for training purposes. Special courses with fire brigades from all regions, simulating possible incidents are also performed to help train employees to manage and control any situations that could arise.
