Education in business administration/banking and more than 30 years of experience in the largest banks of Switzerland, both in strategic, technical and larger management roles. In the last 10 years involved as Managing Partner for the foundation and establishment of an independent asset management company in Switzerland and Luxembourg.

For 17 years Christian Beltrametti held responsible positions as Auditor, Financial Consultant, Cost Controller, and CFO. He spent 10 years as CEO in an international medium-sized pharmaceutical company. He has a comprehensive financial background, strong analytical skills and experience in M&A, company restructuring, reengineering, and ICS.

Michael Mesaric joined UBS Zurich in 1982, starting his career in the Foreign Exchange Money Market and Precious Metals Trading Department. Between 1985 and 1990 he worked as Head of the Precious Metals Trading Teams based in Hong Kong and London. In 1990 Mr. Mesaric joined Credit Suisse Zurich as the Head of the Precious Metals Trading Team. Between 1990 and 2002 he served as Head of the following departments: Global Foreign Equity Trading, Global Physical Gold Trading and Central Banks relationships. In August 2002 he became CEO at Valcambi.

Fernanda Caratsch is a Swiss certified expert in accounting and controlling. She was nominated CFO of Valcambi in July 2009, having served as the company’s Head of Accounting and Control since January 2008. Prior to joining Valcambi, she was the Senior Financial Controller for an international industrial company and a Chartered Accountant for a Trust and financial company.

Simone Knobloch holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry and a post-graduate specialisation in Polymer Science. He served as the Management System Manager for different companies focusing on Quality, Environment, Health and Safety, and Compliance. Advisor and Lead Auditor from 2009, he joined Valcambi’s Quality Management Team in 2013 on a more full-time basis. In October 2014 he was appointed as COO of Valcambi and has held this position to the present day.

After gaining experience at a major security firm, Christian Ceppi joined Valcambi in 2005, as a Security agent. In 2019 he was nominated Deputy Head of Security, a position he held for five years. In 2024 he was nominated as Head of Security of the company.

Ursula Giofrè was nominated Head of Sales at Valcambi in October 2011. Prior to joining Valcambi, she served as Sales Assistant for DSS International, a Ukrainian company which works in speciality metallurgy, and for Orange Communication SA. Ms. Giofré joined Valcambi in 2007 as Back-Office Assistant. From 2009 to 2011, she served as the Valcambi Sales and Marketing Manager. She holds a university degree in Marketing and Corporate Communication and a Master’s Degree in Financial Communication from the University of Italian Suisse (UIS).

Norberto Molteni joined Valcambi in 2011 as Head of Production. Prior to joining Valcambi he worked for different chemical companies as a Process Development and Quality Manager focusing on process improvement. Mr. Molteni holds a Master degree in Chemistry from Statale University in Milan.

Alessia Sironi was nominated Head of Laboratory in October 2020. Ms. Sironi joined the company in 2007 as Technical Officer of Metallurgy. From December 2009, she served as Deputy Head of Foundry and Production Planning. In 2015, she qualified as an official Sworn Assayer. She holds a Master degree in Materials Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Systems Engineering both from Politecnico di Milano.
